Applications are welcomed for this opportunity to join the leadership team as the principal business manager (Executive Director) of the preeminent Austin-based law firm, with four other offices. The firm is highly successful and vibrant. The culture is one of collaboration and cohesiveness in support of the firm’s clients and its employees. Open minds, creativity and fresh ideas are not only the norm, but the expectation. This expectation extends to its valued professional and administrative staff who are at the very heart of the firm’s day-to-day achievements in support of client goals.

The Executive Director reports directly to the Managing Partner and has oversight responsibility for the firm’s overall administration, including accounting and finance (supervising the Chief Financial Officer), and marketing, operations, information technology, human resources, and facilities management, supervising managers in each area.

The successful candidate will have excellent academic credentials, proven executive and management skills and experience (preferably in a law firm environment), a strong background in law firm economics and profitability, excellent communication skills and the skills to serve as the principal administrator of the firm. This is a strategic-level position.
