What Goes Up...
With headlines still saluting the latest record market results, it may seem churlish to raise thoughts of a downturn. But whilst we have no wish to compete with economists, (experts who, according to Nobel Prize winner Paul Samuelson, "correctly predicted nine of the last five recessions"), we are willing to venture that current market conditions will not continue indefinitely. At some stage, the market will cool and those firms that are unprepared for this will find it quite painful.
So what though? What can firms do other than await the inevitable?
