The 2008 Survey of Law Firm Economics includes responses from 265 law firms and covers 15,953 lawyers.  There are thousands of financial and operating statistics provided by the Survey, covering revenue, expenses, billings, realization, assets, liabilities, billing rates, billable hours, lawyer compensation, staff ratios, and much more.  This summary indicates some highlights from the 2008 Survey as well as a glimpse into the wealth of information it offers.
